Let's try: 
  1. to spread like wildfire
  2. to add fuel to the fire
  3. to burn your bridges
  4. to get the bit between your teeth
  5. to be up in the air
Do you know any of these? If yes, great! If not, take a look at their meanings below:
  1. szerzyć się, rozchodzić się bardzo szybko (wiecie... ploty, wirusy, itp.)
  2. dolewać oliwy do ognia
  3. palić za sobą mosty
  4. brać się ostro do pracy
  5. stać pod znakiem zapytania
