OBITUARY

In Polish an obituary is called nekrolog, klepsydra, notatka żałobna. So, do you think that obituaries is the most often-read column in papers? Obits, as they're often abbreviated, may be so popular because they give us an insight and perspective about how other people live. If you read an obituary column in your local paper, then you get 'updated' on what age people pass away. You may also spend time thinking or praying for certain people. There are probably many other reasons why people read obits. What are yours? This is how you pronounce the word obituary
