words that begin with ex- exasperate

Another EX- word today! Let's take a look at this amazing word:

EXASPERATE

This one doesn't sound familiar, does it? Well... The Polish language translates it as rozdrażniać, pogarszać, rozgoryczać, rozjątrzać, wzmagać. In English we could define this word as to make very angry, to infuriate, to annoy...

Let's take a look at a few examples from the Net:
  • He was exasperated by the continual interruptions.
  • Professor Lopez was exasperated by her students' lack of interest in Literature.
  • The manufacturers of Kleenex and Sellotape are exasperated to find people using kleenex and sellotape as ordinary words for facial tissues...
  • Ms Merkel's allies are exasperated at what they view as an unrealistic British stance...
  • Nurses are exasperated by the slow pace at which prescribing is expanding...
  • However, German officials are exasperated by what they see as...
  • German officials are exasperated by what they see as London's slide towards Europe's margins, a move underlined by the British parliament's...
  • Trade is facing continued recessionary headwinds in 2012 and these are exasperated by economic and monetary problems across its key...
My question to you:
What are you exasperated with right now?

Looking forward to your valuable posts impatiently!

  1. Rafał, I think you can imagine what I am exasperated with... I can't stand that there is so much evil in here. That people see many miracles but they reject them. That they fight for poor and tortured animals (which is good but it is going too far!) but they are completely for abortion of little human beings! And many people talk about tolerance but they can't tolerate me as a Christian. But the saddest thing is that they still haven't experienced what I have. This true love and security, this peace... OK, but that's it. We went from exasperation to sadness ;)

    1. Well... It's true evil is everywhere and people have grown so much resistant to to it. As a result people are blind, deaf and insensitive to others. And the point you're making here (on animals) is just a perfect picture of how derailed this world is. So many unborn children are killed while millions are spent on helping animals. Isn't it sick. And the other thing you've brought up here is also quite inconceivable... Tolerance is mentioned wherever you go, but for some wicked reason there is so little understanding of Christians. Why? So, I utterly agree with you and share your exasperation.
