words that begin with in-: inconsiderate

Tuesday... Still a few days to go till we reach our most desired weekend... Anyhow, let's just talk for a second about another beautiful word that starts with in-:

INCONSIDERATE

This word refers to a person or an action that has little regard for the feelings of others, is unkind; thoughtless, heedless or rash; in Polish we would say that person or action is bezmyślny, bezwzględny, nie okazujący szacunku, niedelikatny, nierozwazny, nietaktowny, nieuprzejmy. And this is how you pronounce the word inconsiderate.

A few examples from the Internet:
  • Why are people so inconsiderate?
  • A policeman might assault a member of the public who is so inconsiderate to be ill that he might die as a result of the attack.
  • My mother-in-law is so inconsiderate!: A week and a half ago I had my second miscarriage in the past 3 months and both were at 5 weeks.
  • You are displeased because you think her offence does not merit such an inconsiderate reprimand.
  • Never had she met such an inconsiderate bastard! The though triggered a sudden spasm of headache.

My question to you:
Are you a considerate person? Prove it! Give an example of yourself having been inconsiderate. :)

  1. Some they claim that I am inconsiderate, because I am saying what saliva to the tongue will bring to me. And behind the fact that I am a sincere person.

    1. Dzięki. Szybko przeanalizujmy Twoje zdanie... Myślę, że powinnaś powiedzieć

"Some people claim that I am inconsiderate..."

generalnie nie stawia się przecinków przed ***because***

      potem

"because I can't keep a civil tongue in my head" (nie umiem pilnować języka w gębie - jest to idiom, który przyszedł mi do głowy, ponieważ nie ma w angielskim dosłownego idiomu 'klepać co ślina na język przyniesie') :)

      dalej...

"And aside from that" - oprócz tego :)

      A teraz mój komentarz:

I think all of us are inconsiderate in one way or another. It's true that there are many people who love talking and usually say things in an uncontrollable and later regret it.

These are the best words from the Book of Proverbs we all should learn and remember:

Proverbs 17:27 “He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit. (Rozsądek posiadł, kto w słowach oszczędny, kto spokojnego ducha - roztropny.)

      :)

  2. Yes, many people are inconsiderate. Sometimes even they don't know about it. I also often usually have inconsiderate situations at getting to know new people.

    1. Thanks for your comment. These are a few mistakes you made:

      ***sometimes they even don't know***
      ***often/usually*** (?)

What do you mean by saying "inconsiderate situations at getting to know new people"?

  3. Wiele osób podczas poznawania nowych ludzi jest nietaktownych/bezmyślnych z powodu stresu co i kto o nich pomyśli. Wtedy jest najwięcej takich sytuacji.
