Zadanie 2 - Żywienie (przykładowa odpowiedź)

OUP Photocopiable
Czas: 4 minuty
[Po upływie ok. 10 sekund, egzaminator niestety wbija się z pytaniem: Can you start now?]

:) No to jedziemy...

(Kto?)
It is a very positive picture. I see a group of merrymaking (rozbawiony) young people. There is one long-haired guy (długowłosy facet) in a black cap and five girls. I also see a young waiter standing next to the table and taking his guests' orders (zbierający zamówienia swoich gości). He has a pencil and a note-pad (notesik). I guess the youth (młodzież) must have had some reason (powód) to go out (żeby wyjść na miasto) and paint the town red (odwiedzać puby, knajpki) just to celebrate (by świętować) something.

(Gdzie?)
I think they are in some pub or a fast-food outlet (punkt sprzedający jedzenie typu fast-food). The deco (wystrój) of the place is not anything special. The place looks typical of a fast-food restaurant or maybe a pub. There is some bigger picture hanging on (wiszący na) the wall in the background. The walls are orange and plain (proste, zwykłe) without any ornaments (ozdoby). The table looks cheap and simple. I don't think it is an upmarket (z wyższej półki) restaurant, rather an ordinary (zwykły) place for average (przeciętny) passers-by (przechodnie) where you can eat cheap and fast (tanio i szybko).

(Co się dzieje?)
The guys are sitting at (siedzieć za) their small table and seem to be ordering (zamawiać) main courses (dania główne) now as they have already had their appetizers (przystawki). One of the girls seems to be talking to the waiter and she's probably ordering her own meal while her female friends seem to be listening to her and laughing. They may be laughing at the way (ze sposobu w jaki) she is placing (składa) this order or at the things she is ordering. The boy who has come with the girls is also looking at the same girl and is smiling to her. He may be thinking about how much he would have to fork out (zabulić) for this grub (żarcie).

  1. Do you think the people are having a good time? Why? Why not? (This question has already been answered, so the examiner will not ask it. That's why it's always better to say a bit more...)
  2. What are the most popular places to eat out in your town or city? Why are they popular? (There a re quite a few nice places worth mentioning. Each has its own specific atmosphere and deco. My favorite one is the Wisteria Restaurant as it is spacious, they play nice music there and it is not very fam from my house. I would also say that the Sun Dial Restaurant is quite cool. Not only do they serve huge portions but also at affordable prices, which is very important. Moreover, you can always get an appetizer or only something to drink or some soup, something fried, roasted, quick and vegetarian. I really like these places.)
  3. Tell me about a meal you had with your friends. (Oh yeah! It was a few weeks ago when a friend of mine Małgosia asked a few people to a pizza restaurant to celebrate her eighteenth birthday. We went there in a group of six and had lots of fun together. We had pizzas and drank some fizzy drinks. We told jokes, analyzed our lives as poor secondary school students who had to get ready and take final secondary school exams soon. It was one of the best outings ever!)

Po wszystkim egzaminator mówi:
Thank you.
Let's move on to Task 3.

[Jeżeli zdający rezygnuje z wykonania zadania: Thank you. This is the end of the exam.]

Masz sugestie, komentarze, uwagi? Swoją wersję tego obrazka? A może jakieś pytania? Wal śmiało w postach. Odpowiadam na wszystkie posty! :)
