Zadanie 2 - Życie rodzinne i towarzyskie (przykładowa odpowiedź)

OUP Photocopiable
Czas: 4 minuty
[Po upływie ok. 10 sekund, egzaminator niestety wbija się z pytaniem: Can you start now?]

:) No to jedziemy...

(Kto?)
This is a picture showing a group of young people gathered (zebranych) outdoors (na zewnątrz) by the side of a lake (nad brzegiem jeziora). These are mostly (w większości) teenagers although I can also see two older men who seem to be responsible for preparing food for their younger companions (towarzyszy). There are a few boys and a few girls. The weather is perfect, it seems it is some time in late spring (późna wiosna) or early summer (wczesne lato). The reason for these people's meeting could just be a weekend picnic on a May weekend (w majowy weekend). They may as well be celebrating something... maybe their final secondary school exams (matura)... :)

(Gdzie?)
They are probably in a park. I don't think it could be someone's private area. As I have already mentioned they organized their picnic by a rather small lake or a pond (staw). In the background I see a big tree. I don't know what tree that is. The location seems to be ideal for this type of outdoor recreation (wypoczynek na wolnym powietrzu). The place doesn't look crowded (zatłoczony) so these young people can really have a good time together and are not limited by other people's conversations, music or activity.

(Co się dzieje?)
Well, they are having a good time together. They are having some barbecued food (grilowana żywność) as we see a big grill in the foreground. They are drinking and talking with one another. We can see some folding chairs (składane krzesełka) and a table at which they will soon sit and enjoy their time together. For the time being these people are talking is small groups and seem to be waiting for everybody to have their portion of food (porcja posiłku) on a disposable plate (jednorazowy talerzyk). One of the boys is sitting on a folding chair and is looking at his friend who is jest getting his portion of food. The girls are standing and are involved in (zaangażowane w) discussing some hot issues (gorące tematy). There is also the other older man in the background who is next to the table. He seems to be saying something or at least waving his hand.

  1. What do you think the people are celebrating? Why? (This question has already been answered, so the examiner will not ask it. That's why it's always better to say a bit more...)
  2. How do you celebrate your birthdays? (To be honest, I don't celebrate my birthdays the way it is shown in the picture. First of all I was born in November so the weather is usually too bad for barbecues. I just receive greeting from my family members, I get some gifts and, in return, I just serve some birthday cake and coffee. That's all. There is usually no time to celebrate birthdays and, moreover, once you are getting older, you don't really want to celebrate your birthdays... do you? I guess it's nice to celebrate only more important birthdays in your life such as when you are born or when you turn your first years of life, then perhaps when you are 18...)
  3. Tell me about a birthday party you went to and really enjoyed. (Well, I don't often go to birthday parties, but I remember one birthday that was organized a few years ago at my friends house. She was celebrating her 18th birthday so it was one of those more important days in her life. We really enjoyed the party a lot. We danced a lot, talked about things, told jokes and really had a good laugh together.

Po wszystkim egzaminator mówi:
Thank you.
Let's move on to Task 3.

[Jeżeli zdający rezygnuje z wykonania zadania: Thank you. This is the end of the exam.]

Masz sugestie, komentarze, uwagi? Swoją wersję tego obrazka? A może jakieś pytania? Wal śmiało w postach. Odpowiadam na wszystkie posty! :)
