Zadanie 2 - Zdrowie (przykładowa odpowiedź)

OUPPhotocopiable
Czas: 4 minuty
[Po upływie ok. 10 sekund, egzaminator niestety wbija się z pytaniem: Can you start now?]

:) No to jedziemy...

(Kto?)
The picture is a bit sugary (przesłodzony)... I see a small boy in bed and a doctor just next to him. The boy is wearing blue pyjamas and the doctor is wearing her uniform. She must be a doctor as she is also wearing a stethoscope (stetoskop) around her neck. To my mind, she is in her thirties and the boy me be six or seven years old. The boy doesn't look very ill as he is smiling and I can't see any visible (widoczne) signs (oznaki) of disease (choroba) on his face and body. He is not even pale (blady). To me, he is quite well and maybe even ready to leave the hospital soon.

(Gdzie?)
The picture was probably taken in a hospital room although when I'm looking at this picture I am almost sure that unfortunately it isn't a Polish hospital as it is too colorful, too clean (czysty) and too bright (jasny). In the background we can see two helium balloons (balony wypełnione helem) tied to the boy's bedside table (stolik przy łóżku). There are grapes (winogrona) on the table and some box next to the grapes. There are very sweet curtains (zasłony) in the window behind the bed. The bedclothes (pościel) are the same as the curtains. There may be no other patients in this room. I may suppose it is some private clinic (prywatna klinika) as it is really well taken care of (dobrze zadbana)

(Co się dzieje?)
The young doctor has just come to visit the boy. She may have brought him the balloons and the teddy-bear (miś) the boy is cuddling (tulić). The doctor is also holding the boy's right hand. The picture is really touching (wzruszający). The boy is in a half-sitting position (w pozycji półsiedzącej). His head and shoulders are supported with (podparte) a pillow (poduszka). The are now posing for the photo (pozują do zdjęcia) but they may have been talking (mogli rozmawiać) about something before.

  1. Who do you think is enjoying the game the most? (This question has already been answered, so the examiner will not ask it. That's why it's always better to say a bit more...)
  2. What is the best way to stay healthy? (It's a difficult question. As we all know there are many ways of staying healthy, however, you can hardly say that sticking to one or another way will guarantee you stable health. I believe that people should follow this simple saying "a healthy mind in a healthy body". This means that you should simply do some exercise and then you'll make sure your body is healthy and once your body is healthy, your mind will be healthy too. And when you add a healthy diet, you will be as fit as a fiddle.)
  3. Tell me about the last time you were ill. (As far as I remember I was taken ill with a cold and had to stay in bed for a few weeks. I had to take aspirin and stay in bed because I had temperature and shivers. The other problem I suffered from was my runny nose and some nasty cough. It wasn't a nice time but what can you do if you don't do one of the things I had talked about before...)

Po wszystkim egzaminator mówi:
Thank you.
Let's move on to Task 3.

[Jeżeli zdający rezygnuje z wykonania zadania: Thank you. This is the end of the exam.]

Masz sugestie, komentarze, uwagi? Swoją wersję tego obrazka? A może jakieś pytania? Wal śmiało w postach. Odpowiadam na wszystkie posty! :)
